Questions

Do I need the Record.so app?

Yes. The extension drives Record.so for Mac, so install that first (version 1.7.1 or newer). Without it, the commands open record.so instead.

Can a command have its own shortcut?

Yes. In Raycast settings, open Extensions, pick Record and set a hotkey on any command. Then it runs without opening Raycast at all.

What happens when I stop recording?

The recording finishes uploading and its share link opens in your browser, ready to paste.

Two commands are missing. Where are they?

Screenshot Window and Pause or Resume start switched off to keep the list short. Turn them on in the extension settings in Raycast.

Does it work on Windows?

Not yet. The extension is built for Mac. On Windows, use the Record.so app and its own shortcuts.

One keystroke to a shareable video.

No card, no watermark, no length limit.
