A week without the status meeting
One recording on Monday. The team catches up on their own time, and questions come back pinned to the second.
Open the roadmap and talk it through with your face in the corner. Three minutes, one take.
Beyond the weekly update
Hand off a project
Going on leave or switching teams? Record the handoff once with the doc on screen. The next person rewatches the part they need.
How sharing worksOnboard new people
Keep the walkthroughs in a shared folder. New teammates watch them in their first week, and you can see who has.
How viewer insights workGive feedback on a draft
Walk through the draft and say what you would change. It is faster than writing it down, and nothing gets lost in tone.
How recording worksA three minute weekly update
Borrow it, then say it your way. Or paste it into the teleprompter in the desktop app and read it while you record.

Questions
All questionsDo people need an account to watch?
No. Anyone with the link can watch. Comments and reactions need a free account. Make the link workspace-only and only your team can open it.
How long should an update be?
Two to five minutes. There is no length limit, but short updates get watched to the end.
How do I see who has not watched yet?
Open the Viewers tab on the video. Everyone who watched is listed by name with how far they got, so the missing names stand out. Viewer names are on Pro.
Can people skip to the part about them?
Yes. Add one line per topic in the Chapters box, like "2:05 Where I need help", and it becomes a chapter they can jump to.
Can I read from a script?
Yes. The desktop app has a teleprompter that stays out of the recording.
